Birthday Boudoir
Thirty, forty, fifty. Mark the year.
Celebrate it, don't dread it
A milestone birthday is one of the most common reasons women book with me. The 30th, the 40th, the 50th. A year that feels like it matters, and a way of marking it that is entirely about you.
No cake required.Just you, as you are right now.
A 30th, 40th or 50th birthday boudoir shoot
Every decade brings its own version of confidence. Women in their twenties and thirties are often discovering it. Women in their forties and fifties are often reclaiming it. Whatever number is on the cake, the session is the same: private, unhurried, and guided the whole way.
You do not need to know how to pose. That is my job. I show you every pose myself and talk you through the small details, so all you have to do is turn up.
Have the photos before the big day
If you want the images in your hands for the birthday itself, get in touch at least four weeks ahead. That leaves time to shoot, choose your favourites, and have them edited properly without a rush.
If the date is already close, message me anyway and I will tell you straight whether it can be done.

Buying it as a birthday gift
Plenty of birthday sessions start as a gift. Friends club together for a friend's milestone birthday, and partners buy one for their wife.
Get in touch first and we will talk about who she is and what kind of shoot would suit her. I then send you a digital voucher to pass on. It tells her someone who loves her has given her a boudoir shoot, how long her session is and how many images she gets. It does not show the price, so she never sees what you spent.
When she is ready, she calls me herself and we plan her day together. The voucher lasts three months, on purpose, so she does not keep putting it off until some better version of herself turns up. She does not need to be any different to do this.
There is more detail on thegift voucher page.
Quick answers
Can I have my photos before my birthday?+
Yes, if you book early enough. Get in touch at least four weeks before the date, so there is time to shoot, choose your favourites and edit them properly.
Can my friends or my partner buy a boudoir shoot for my birthday?+
Yes. They get in touch with me first, and I send them a digital gift voucher to pass on. It shows how long your session is and how many images you get, but not the price. You then call me yourself to plan the shoot.
How long does a boudoir gift voucher last?+
Three months, on purpose. Left open ended, a lot of women put it off until they have lost weight or some better version of themselves turns up. You do not need to be any different to do this.
Am I too old for a boudoir shoot?+
No. I have photographed women in their twenties, forties and sixties. Boudoir is not about being a certain age. It is about how you feel in your own skin, right now.
