Bridal Boudoir
Auckland, before the big day.
One of the best gifts you will ever give
Bridal boudoir is one of the most common reasons women book with me. Most plan it as a gift for their partner to open before the wedding. A good number end up keeping the album for themselves once they see it.
And plenty of brides book it for no one but themselves. That is a perfectly good reason too.
1
TELL ME ABOUT THE WEDDING
Get in touch and tell me when the day is. Wedding planning fills up fast, and bridal boudoir is one of the first things to get squeezed out if it is left late. Reaching out early costs you nothing and holds your place.
2
YOUR SESSION, RUN LIKE ANY OTHER
Same studio, same pace, same guidance. I photograph one woman a day, so nobody is watching a clock and nothing is rushed. We talk through what you have brought, and I direct you the whole way. You do not need to know how to pose.
3
IN YOUR HANDS BEFORE THE DAY
You choose your favourites and I edit them. The point is to have the images well before the week of the wedding, not the night before, so there is room to breathe and time to wrap it if it is a gift.

What to bring
- White or ivoryA white set, a slip, a robe. It is the closest thing to a bridal theme and it photographs beautifully.
- The veilBring it if you have it. A veil moves, and moving fabric photographs like nothing else in the room.
- The shoesThe ones you are wearing on the day, even if they never end up in frame. They change how you stand.
- The garter, if there is oneAlong with anything blue, borrowed or old that means something to you.
- Something with nothing to do with the weddingMost brides bring one thing that is purely theirs. It is often the set we both end up loving most.
There is a fuller guide on thewhat to wearpage, and it all applies here too.
When to book it
Earlier than you think. Wedding planning fills up fast and this is the thing that gets pushed to the bottom of the list, then runs out of room.
You want the images in your hands well before the day rather than the week of it. That gives time for choosing, editing, and wrapping it properly if it is a gift. If your date is already close, get in touch anyway and I will tell you straight whether it can be done.
Your session stays yours
Nothing goes online unless you tell me it can. Not on the website, not on Instagram, not in a private group. Your photos are yours, and a bridal session is no different.
You can bring a support person, and you can change your mind about anything at any point, including halfway through. Read what other women said on thereviews page.
Tell me about your wedding
Send me the date and whatever you are imagining. There is no pressure and no right answers, and I will come back to you with a proper reply.
